Naturall Club was founded by Muhga Eltigani in 2015. Some of their products are so natural that they are delivered frozen and must be stored in the freezer! They also prioritize ingredients like aloe vera, coconut oil, avocado oil, flaxseed oil, and castor oil. 7. Kinky-Curly
Shelley Davis founded Kinky Curly in 2003. (I think I’m also the only one who didn’t know this company was Black-owned and so are their hair products!) Davis was inspired by handmade hair care and the results she experienced from the concoctions she was making for herself. Because she was curious about these berries, juices, and the science behind the results she was seeing, she decided to study cosmetic chemistry online. Her Caribbean heritage and background in marketing also give insight into the quality and success of Kinky-Curly today.

This line of black-owned hair products was founded in 2001 by Jamyla Bennu and named after honey in the Yoruba language, oyin. Inspired by their name, they seek to promote sweetness, joy, and love in their customer’s daily acts of self-care. Because Bennu couldn’t easily find natural and organic products for natural hair, she partnered with her husband Pierre to start the then online-only company in 2003.
